Mark Scott – Leader of Grounds Committee

src=/UserFiles/image/Committee/Mark_Scott.jpgPlayed 1st XV to Vets Rugby at Cranbrook from 1993 to 2008. I Joined the club in 1993 from Maidstone FC where I had played for the previous 18 years, a significant part in the 1st XV. Prosperity there helped achieve their introduction to league rugby in National Division 3 coupled with a heavy travel commitment and a supportive wife  I also represented the County at times during this period. Living in Biddenden with links to Cranbrook via the Mad Dogs and the local Farming fraternity my decision to join Cranbrook RFC has never been regretted . In 2002 I was Elected Chairman of the Club , a position I held for 6  years eventually handing over to the tireless Peter Reddyhoff before he sadly passed away. Having given up my Chairman and playing responsibilities, having played with my Son Jon at senior level , I have turned my energies to trying to improve the playing surfaces for every one. My knowledge of the local soil and enthusiasm for Growing have been put to good use … I hope you agree ?
