WOW! Cranbrook U8s first ever festival was incredible! We fielded 4 teams to play at Medway RFC, with over 25 teams in total competing, it was a full-on crazy morning filled with smiling, laughing, running, catching, throwing with screams of "DEFENSIVE LINE!" and "TAG" ringing in our ears for the rest of the day. All of the kids had a whale of time with great feedback from parents/carers, coaches and most importantly the kids. The players are starting to link the drills completed in the training sessions to match play which is fantastic and the coaches can see where we need to improve (offside!!) and are tailoring the training sessions to learning these skills.
It was great to see so many happy children enjoying their morning of tag rugby... roll on the next festival!
