Beccehamians U17 - Sands (Club) - 14th October 2018

Updated by: Admin - 14/10/2018

Take nothing away from a well drilled and excellent Beccehamians U17M team.
It was always going to be a tough match.

Beccs are blessed with quality players (especially at 9 and 10) and all players sing from the same sheet.

A couple of very well executed tries saw the CRFC trailing from early on.

Not helped by “new” injuries and the uphill battle looked dubious. TBH in the first half there was only one team on the pitch and despite fantastic defensive play the halftime showed CRFC to be trailing 0-17.

However, the second half was another story. CRFC started to play as a team and lead by the Captain (Lucky) and Vice Captain (Mantle) the team started an onslaught on the Beccs try-line.
Sebbie was nothing short of outstanding in defence and attack. Their effort lifted the team’s morale and CRFC deservingly won the second half 14-7 despite finishing with 13 “more or less” fit players.

Final result 14 - 24
